Tony Evans in Convocation at Liberty University

Liberty University's Convocation, which is held three times a week and is attended by over 12,000 college students making it North America's largest weekly gathering of Christian students, features prominent and Godly speakers from across the country. This past Monday (January 21, 2012) speaker, pastor, teacher, author and speaker Dr. Tony Evans, spoke to students about how to solidify the foundation of their faith and to rest in the foundation of Jesus Christ. This is a message we all need to hear and one that would be worth you taking a few minutes to view.

Dr. Evans is one of the country's most respected leaders in evangelical circles. He has served as the senior pastor of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship for over 35 years. Dr. Evans was the first African-American to graduate with a doctoral degree from Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS) and holds the rare honor of serving as chaplain for the NBA's Dallas Mavericks over the last three decades.

  1. Great reminder of God's command to build our foundation on His Word. Strongly encourage all to listen for we never get to a point to "have it all together" in our daily walk and choices we have to make.
